Crazy Times At the Homework Tisch

Today I wore my University of Oregon shirt because I just found out I've been officially accepted for the fall 2015 term. Woo! Go Ducks! This time next year I'll be studying in Allen Hall and Lillis Business Complex. But today I was studying at the family dining room table with my little brother.

Track Town USA here I come!
While I was analyzing Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream Speech" for English class, my little brother was also working the English grind. He was doing some exercises in his English workbook. Today's topic was "in the American diner." I told him about my fun times at the local Shari's on Friday nights after basketball games, football games, and neighborhood night games. Shout out to Tricha from Shari's-- the coolest waitress ever!

Well, I've got to finish explicating some speech by Tsar Nick I to the Polish people in the 1800s. But for your entertainment, here's the audio snippet of the English workbook's "All-American diner" section. Not quite the same as the Salem Commercial Shari's, but I'm digging the Jersey accents.
